Hello there and welcome to the Prayer School Community website!

First, let me say that the true author is of course, the one and only, Jesus Christ! He alone is the author and finisher of our faith!! (Hebrews 12:2) I praise God for the gift of His Holy Spirit living in us and continually leading us to the head over God’s church. I am not the head, and I joyfully take my place in submission to He who is head over me. I am thankful to live IN CHRIST and for Christ to live in me. It is truly the work of grace in me that has enabled me to do anything for the Lord. Praise God for His grace that ABOUNDS towards us! (2 Corinthians 8:9-12).

God’s love for us is so great, and the teachings that come out by the anointing of the Holy Spirit continually keep us refreshed in God’s unconditional love for us. KNOWING God’s love for us is unfailing and unchanging is a core truth we must really KNOW in our hearts to be unshakable and immovable in our faith and walking it out on this earth. We  believe it is God’s faith working through us as we pray in agreement with His Word (the Bible) that moves mountains — His gift of love and faith working through us heals the sick, heals the brokenhearted, brings recovery of sight to the blind, releases prisoners from captivity, brings joy to the mourning…through the anointing that is upon us by the Holy Spirit we proclaim the finished work of Christ! We are in the year (age) of God’s favor that has been poured out through His son Jesus Christ, and through His grace and anointing, we proclaim this year of God’s favor to His people.

Prayer is simple…it’s man that complicates it. Prayer School is full of anointed teaching from the Holy Spirit that helps to detox our soul from all the enemy’s lies and religious thinking that tries to keep us in bondage.  Prayer is simply communicating with God, and it is when we surrender to Him and open our heart to receive His thoughts, His words, His images and His emotions…giving up our own…that we begin to receive all His Word promises to us —the life and life more abundantly that Jesus came and died for us to receive! (John 10:10) We have to be willing to surrender ourselves to Him completely which means surrendering ourselves to His Word (the Bible) and to His Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth and along the best pathway for our life (Psalm 32:8).

We believe Jesus is Lord and we look to the Word of God as the only source of truth! We believe Jesus willingly gave up His own life for mankind on the cross to pay for his sins: past, present and future and that salvation is available to all who will believe upon the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. We believe according to Ephesians 2:8 that we are saved by grace through faith and this not being of ourselves, but as a gift from God. It’s not our own works that can earn us a place in heaven or earn us the fulfillment of a promise from God here on the earth. It is the blood of Jesus alone that has made us worthy to receive. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21)

God wishes that none should perish but that all would come to know the saving knowledge of His son. Through salvation, we also believe as the Bible teaches, that we receive the Holy Spirit living in us as a deposit or guarantee of our salvation for eternity, and it is the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth and who we surrender to when we pray. We pray to the Father, through the Son (Jesus, the Word) and by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one here with us on the earth to be our guide in prayer and to help us receive the fullness of all that God has promised to us in His Word (the Bible). Romans 8:26 teaches us that we need the Holy Spirit in our prayers and that we do not know how to pray on our own. We must invite Him to be our guide at all times, and He will ALWAYS leads us to the Word (the Bible).

The heart behind Prayer School is to bring God’s people (new believers, old believers and all believers in between) into a clear understanding about how to pray as the Bible teaches us to pray, and how to receive through prayer. The lives of many Christians today don’t look like the Word of God says they should look — We have this whole book of promises that God has declared are ours, and yet, they can go unrevealed in our lives if we don’t learn how to receive.  As Christians, it’s time for us to become better receivers, and not only so that our own lives reflect the “life and life more abundantly” Jesus died for us to receive, but also so that the whole earth is a better reflection of God’s goodness.

The world needs our prayers! We’ve been given power through Christ to change things! God has already done His part in sending His son on the cross – He did a complete, finished work on our behalf.  He has declared everything He says in His word is already ours through his son, Jesus. If we need healing, it’s ours! If we need peace, it’s ours! If we need joy, it’s ours! If we need a miracle, it’s ours! If we need favor, it’s ours! If we need wealth, it’s ours!  We don’t have to try and earn a single thing from God; in fact, we can’t earn anything from God. All of His promises come to us by faith – faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross on our behalf and in knowing because of Him (not because of how good WE are), we receive every promise freely through God’s love and grace.  Jesus paid the price in full!

My name is Amanda Wolfe and I began teaching a weekly Prayer School class at my home church in Mesa, AZ in January 2013. I started working as a church staff member in 1996 when I was 18 and served as the receptionist. From there I became the head pastor’s executive assistant, and then I was asked to oversee their tape and book ministry and edit their production materials, etc. Yes, back then it was still cassette tapes! LOL! I didn’t know then, but I certainly realize today, that The Lord was preparing me for ministry as well.  I served as a staff member for 5 years, and then when I had my second son in 2001, I decided to be a stay at home mom. It was during that time that I began to get “teachings” from The Lord in the middle of the night and I would write them in my journal. I was involved as a leader in the young women’s ministry at our church at the time, but I hadn’t yet been called upon to teach. God was preparing me in advance.

20+ years later, I continue to grow and serve in the same local church God has planted me in and He has prospered my family and I in many ways just as His word promises: “for those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in His courts” (Psalm 92:13). I am passionate about the local church and the body of Christ being planted where God has called them to be planted – to grow and to serve and take their place in Him and in serving alongside with the body of people He has joined us together with. I’ve served on intercession teams, in leading worship, in children’s and junior high ministries, in teaching during women’s bible study meetings, and in other areas as The Lord has called upon me to serve. I am always mindful of the seasons I am in and continue to trust in God’s grace to equip me and prepare me for each season.

Prayer School began within my local church where I taught nearly every Sunday for roughly 5 years. The teaching videos and syllabi on this website were from the last year and a half during that time. When the church began a transition to Wednesday nights from Sunday mornings for Prayer School, I sensed the Holy Spirit speaking it was time for me to pass the mantle onto others for the new Wednesday night program. I recognize God often uses me as a builder in the church body, whether to build up people or to build up ministries, and I believe the work of grace through me established a strong foundation of teaching that others can now build upon. Praise God! That excites me! I believe as ministers of God’s Word we should be excited about making room for one another’s gifts! I look forward to seeing all the good that will continue to birth in my local church in this area through the gift of grace working in other anointed ministers.

The expansion of Prayer School outside of the church walls and unto the online community is for the purpose of allowing the Word to be far reaching not only into the hearts of all who receive, but also far reaching into every nation. I believe The Lord has given me a timely Word for the body concerning prayer, grace, and God’s love and faithfulness that is not limited to just the walls of a building; therefore, for this purpose, I created this online Prayer School Community page where we could share freely with people from all around the world.  Here is a link to watch video recordings of some of the past teachings: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-68Wyv2ajk7b-4elEanYGw

God has anointed me with His grace to preach the gospel and finished work of Christ and to reveal God’s love and faithfulness to the nations.

I am a first generational Christian who has had some major things to walk through in my life, and we all have our testimonies! My history involved poverty, lack, fear, being fatherless, never feeling good enough, and low self-worth. Through God’s grace and the power of prayer, I have experienced The Lord’s divine provision and freedom, and it brings me great joy to share of His love and faithfulness with others.

Too often religion of man has made prayer a serious, mental activity…often full of sorrow and burden. Man and circumstance become the focus, and that isn’t helping anybody! God’s way is so much better and His way produces fruit! God’s way is through praise and joy in Him as we go into His Word (the Bible) and speak truth in the face of the enemy’s lies. When we pray the Word of God (meaning when we fill our mouth with what God says in the Bible), our prayers are powerful and effective, because they are rooted in Christ, and He is our righteousness. It is the prayer of a righteous man that availeth much. Jesus (the Word) is our righteousness and God declares that WE have been MADE the righteousness of God through Christ. Prayer School teachings are helping the body to know who God is in a very real, intimate way, and also to know who WE are in Christ. Prayer School teachings are helping people to RECEIVE what God has stored up for them in His heavenly storehouse by understanding who they are in Christ so that they can boldly approach the throne of grace and exercise the power and dominion they’ve been given to rule and reign on this earth – over sickness and disease, poverty and all the works of the enemy, as well as over the enemy himself. John 10:10 tells us that Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly! He doesn’t just provide salvation from hell so that we can go to heaven, but through His Word and by His Spirit, there is provision for us to receive His salvation every day while we are living here on this earth as well.
